Installation Guide
Required Tools:
- 10mm Socket & Ratchet
- 10mm Nut Driver
- Trim Removal Tool or Flathead Screwdriver
- Gloves

Step 1: Preparation & Cargo Cover Removal
Open the trunk and remove the rear cargo tray or floor cover to access the side panels.

Step 2: Remove the Side Panel Bolt
Once the hook is removed, use a 10mm socket to remove the bolt hidden underneath.

Step 3: Peel Weather Stripping & Loosen Trim Panel
Pull back the rubber weather stripping. Firmly grasp the edge of the side trim panel and pull it outwards to release the clips, creating space to access the wiring.

Step 4: Remove Outer Tail Light Bolts
Use a 10mm socket to remove the two external bolts securing the tail light assembly.

Step 5: Pull Out the Factory Tail Light
Pull the tail light assembly straight back to release it from the vehicle. Do not pull too hard, as the wiring is still connected inside.

Step 6: Disconnect the Wiring Harness
Reach behind the loosened trim panel to locate the white power connector. Press the tab to disconnect the harness and fully remove the old tail light.

Step 7: Connect the New LED Tail Light
Feed the new LED tail light wiring through the body hole. Reconnect the power plug behind the trim panel, ensuring it clicks into place.

Step 8: Seat the Rubber Grommet
Firmly press the rubber grommet on the wiring harness into the body hole. This is crucial to prevent water leaks into the trunk.

Step 9: Secure the New Tail Light
Align the new tail light and push it back into position. Reinstall and tighten the two 10mm mounting bolts.

Step 10: Reassemble Interior Trim
Push the side trim panel back until the clips snap into place. Reset the weather stripping, reinstall the inner bolt, and lock the cargo hook back on.

Common Issues & Solutions
1. Tail light does not turn on after installation
Please first check whether the wiring harness connectors are properly connected and fully seated. Inspect the pins inside the connector to ensure none are bent or misaligned.
If any pins are bent, you may carefully straighten them using a paper clip or other small precision tool, then reconnect the plug securely.
2. Swap test
If the tail light still does not illuminate, try swapping the left and right tail lights to determine whether the issue is related to the light unit itself or the vehicle wiring.
3. Condensation inside the tail light
Condensation may occur due to temperature differences, which is a normal physical phenomenon. After the tail light has been operating for a period of time and the internal temperature stabilizes, the moisture will naturally dissipate.
This does not affect brightness, performance, or the lifespan of the tail light.
