2021-2024 Ford F150 LED Headlights
Installation Guide
Required Tools:
- 1/4" Ratchet
- 1/4" Extension
- Sockets: 10mm / 8mm / 7mm
- Metal Panel Popper
- Flat Screwdriver

Step 1 — Remove Upper Cover / Intake Panel
Remove the bumper. Use a panel popper/flat screwdriver to remove the plastic clips, then lift off the upper cover to access the grille/headlight fasteners.

Step 2 — Remove Grille Fasteners
Remove the bolts along the top of the grille using the appropriate socket (commonly 8mm/10mm), then release any remaining clips.

Step 3 — Release & Remove the Grille
Carefully pull the grille forward to release the retaining clips. Work evenly from one side to the other to avoid bending tabs.

Step 4 — Remove Headlight Mounting Bolts
Remove the headlight mounting bolts (top/side) with a ratchet and extension. Keep hardware organized by side.

Step 5 — Disconnect OE Connectors
Gently pull the headlight forward and unplug the OE connectors. Do not force—press the tab, then pull straight out.

Step 6 — Transfer Any Required Parts (If Applicable)
If your new headlights require reusing OEM modules/adjusters (varies by product), transfer them now following the same bolt pattern.

Step 7 — Connect New Prismbeam Headlight & DRL Harness (If Included)
Plug in the main headlight connector(s). If a DRL harness is included/required, connect it as instructed. Make sure every connector clicks into place.

Step 8 — Test Before Final Reassembly
Reconnect the battery temporarily and test: low beam, high beam, turn signal, DRL/parking light. Fix any loose connectors before reassembly.
Step 9 — Reinstall Headlight & Align
Seat the headlight into position, ensure tabs align with the mounting points, then reinstall and snug the bolts evenly.

Step 10 — Reinstall Grille & Upper Cover
Reinstall the grille (engage clips first, then bolts), then reinstall the upper cover and plastic clips.

Step 11 — Final Check & Beam Aim (Optional)
Confirm no warning lights, re-check all functions, and adjust beam aim if needed according to local regulations.
Common Issues & Solutions
1. Light does not turn on after installation
Please first check whether the wiring harness connectors are properly connected and fully seated. Inspect the pins inside the connector to ensure none are bent or misaligned.
If any pins are bent, you may carefully straighten them using a paper clip or other small precision tool, then reconnect the plug securely.
2. Swap test
If the light still does not illuminate, try swapping the left and right lights to determine whether the issue is related to the light unit itself or the vehicle wiring.
3. Condensation inside the light
Condensation may occur due to temperature differences, which is a normal physical phenomenon. After the light has been operating for a period of time and the internal temperature stabilizes, the moisture will naturally dissipate.
This does not affect brightness, performance, or the lifespan of the light.
