Installation Guide
Required Tools:
- Plastic Trim Removal Tool
- 10mm Socket & Ratchet
- Security Bit
- Masking Tape

Step 1: Remove Trunk Side Trim Cover
Open the trunk. Use a plastic trim tool to gently pry out the black plastic cover located next to the tail light.

Step 2: Remove Mounting Bolts
Remove the two 10mm bolts revealed under the trim cover. Then, remove the single 10mm bolt located on top of the tail light.

Step 3: Remove Factory Tail Light
Firmly pull the tail light straight back to disengage the clips. Be careful not to scratch the paint. Unplug the connector and remove the light.

Step 4: Transfer Top Bracket (Crucial Step)
Locate the black plastic bracket on top of the factory tail light. Use the included security bit tool to remove the two screws, then transfer this bracket onto the new tail light.

Step 5: Sequential Signal Setting (Optional)
Check the back of the new tail light. There is a plug connecting a blue and black wire. Connected = Sequential Signal / Disconnected = Standard Blink. Choose your preference before installing.

Step 6: Install New Tail Light
Plug in the harness connector. Align the guide pin on the side and the tab on the inner edge, then firmly push the tail light into place.

Step 7: Secure and Reassemble
Reinstall the three 10mm bolts (two on the side, one on top). Finally, snap the black side trim cover back into place.

Step 8: Function Test
Turn on the ignition and test all lights: Startup Animation, Brake, Reverse, and Turn Signals. Ensure everything works correctly.

The following section applies ONLY to RGB Models. If you purchased the standard version, your installation is complete.

Common Issues & Solutions
1. Tail light does not turn on after installation
Please first check whether the wiring harness connectors are properly connected and fully seated. Inspect the pins inside the connector to ensure none are bent or misaligned.
If any pins are bent, you may carefully straighten them using a paper clip or other small precision tool, then reconnect the plug securely.
2. Swap test
If the tail light still does not illuminate, try swapping the left and right tail lights to determine whether the issue is related to the light unit itself or the vehicle wiring.
3. Condensation inside the tail light
Condensation may occur due to temperature differences, which is a normal physical phenomenon. After the tail light has been operating for a period of time and the internal temperature stabilizes, the moisture will naturally dissipate.
This does not affect brightness, performance, or the lifespan of the tail light.
