Installation Guide
Required Tools:
T15 Torx Wrench or Bit

Step 1: Remove Mounting Screws
Open the tailgate and locate the two T15 Torx screws on the inner side of the tail light. Carefully unscrew them.

Step 2: Pull out the Tail Light Housing
Firmly grasp the tail light and pull it straight back towards you to release it from the body clips.

Step 3: Disconnect Secondary Plugs
If your truck is equipped with bed lights, press the release tab to unplug the small connector behind the light.

Step 4: Disconnect Main Harness Connector
Go underneath the truck and locate the main connector. Slide the red locking tab back, press the release clip, and pull to disconnect.

Step 5: Feed the New Harness
Take your new LED tail light and feed the main wiring harness through the body opening down towards the ground.

Step 6: Reconnect Secondary Connectors
Connect the small plug for the bed light (if applicable) and ensure it clicks and locks into place.

Step 7: Mount the New Housing
Align the alignment pins on the new tail light with the holes in the truck body. Push the housing firmly forward into place.

Step 8: Secure with Screws
Re-install the two T15 Torx screws to secure the new tail light to the body.

Step 9: Lock Main Harness Connector Underneath
From underneath the truck, plug the main harness back in. Slide the red locking tab forward to ensure a secure connection.

Step 10: Test Functionality
Before finalizing the installation, test the turn signals, brake lights, and reverse lights to ensure the connection is secure.
