2018-2023 Toyota Camry 8th Headlights
Installation Guide
Required Tools:
- 1/4" Ratchet
- 1/4" Extension
- 10mm Socket + 8mm Socket
- Trim Removal Tool / Panel Popper
- Flat Screwdriver
- Phillips Screwdriver
- Gloves & Masking Tape

Step 1 — Remove Upper Cover
Remove the plastic clips on the upper cover using a trim tool, then lift the cover off to expose the top bumper/headlight fasteners.

Step 2 — Loosen Fender Liner
Turn the wheel outward for access. Remove the clips/screws securing the fender liner near the bumper corner to create space.

Step 3 — Remove Lower Undertray Fasteners
Remove the bolts and clips along the bottom edge of the bumper (and splash shield/undertray if needed) to free the bumper cover.

Step 4 — Remove/Release Bumper Cover
Release the bumper corner clips near the fender, then carefully pull the bumper cover forward. Disconnect any fog light/parking sensor connectors if present.

Step 5 — Remove Headlight Mounting Bolts
Remove the headlight bolts (typically 10mm) at the top and side. Keep hardware organized by driver/passenger side.

Step 6 — Unplug OE Connectors
Pull the headlight slightly forward and unplug the main connector(s). Press the tab and pull straight—do not pull on the wires.

Step 7 — Transfer Parts (If Needed)
If your new headlight requires reusing any OEM bulbs/modules/brackets (varies by product), transfer them now and secure firmly.

Step 8 — Install New Headlight & Connect Wiring
Connect the new headlight harness(es) until you hear a click. Seat the headlight into position and ensure all tabs align before bolting down.

Step 9 — Function Test
Reconnect the battery and test low beam, high beam, DRL/parking light, and turn signals. Fix any loose connectors before reassembly.

Step 10 — Reinstall Bumper & Liners
Reconnect any bumper wiring, then reinstall the bumper cover. Engage corner clips first, then reinstall bottom fasteners, fender liner fasteners, and the upper cover.

The following section applies ONLY to RGB Models. If you purchased the standard version, your installation is complete.

Common Issues & Solutions
1. Light does not turn on after installation
Please first check whether the wiring harness connectors are properly connected and fully seated. Inspect the pins inside the connector to ensure none are bent or misaligned.
If any pins are bent, you may carefully straighten them using a paper clip or other small precision tool, then reconnect the plug securely.
2. Swap test
If the light still does not illuminate, try swapping the left and right lights to determine whether the issue is related to the light unit itself or the vehicle wiring.
3. Condensation inside the light
Condensation may occur due to temperature differences, which is a normal physical phenomenon. After the light has been operating for a period of time and the internal temperature stabilizes, the moisture will naturally dissipate.
This does not affect brightness, performance, or the lifespan of the light.
