RGB / App Connectivity Issues
If you are experiencing connection or control issues with the RGB app, please check the following:
Phone Settings & Power: Ensure your phone's Bluetooth is turned ON. Ensure Location Services (GPS) are turned ON (required for Bluetooth scanning on Android).
Important: The vehicle's Running Lights (Parking Lights) must be turned ON to power the Bluetooth module.
Signal Interference: Make sure there are no other strong signal sources inside or near the vehicle that could interfere with the connection.
App Installation:
1. RGB version lamp comes with remote control with the lamp, and the remote control can realize one-keyswitch to red light driving (no flow animation) mode.
2. The remote control is paired with the lamp before leaving the factory, if the running lights do not switchafter pressing the remote control, the customer can press the brake and hold the remote control for 10s tocomplete the pairing of the remote control.
3. RGB version lamp can control the animation of the running lights when they work normally through theAPP (light running) (the start animation cannot be adjusted).
4. LightRuning APP download method: App Store search LightRuning to find (Figure 1) arrow pointed tothe software to complete the installation, Android mobile phone Scan the QR code or Google Playsearch LightRuning
5. Device Bluetooth connection method:Open the Light Run APP, click Add Device (Figure 2). enter theinterface (Fiqure 3) and click the nearby device searched to complete the Bluetooth connection.
6. Running light status switching method:
6.1.Running light dynamic mode switching method: the number in the middle of the blue box of theinterface indicates the current dynamic mode, click + and - to switch the dynamic mode, difterent dynamicmodes correspond to different running light dynamic effects, click AUTO to enter the automatic cycle of allmodes
6.2.Running light static constant light mode switching method: drag the color selection button in the greenbox of the interface, or click the self-selected color/fixed color button in the green box of the interface, thelamp will immediately interrupt the animation to switch to the static continuous light mode of that color

Pro Tip: If you previously used the "Light Running" app and are having issues, please try downloading "Star Light Running". This is the enhanced/upgraded version of the App. Synchronization Issues (One side not working):
Most RGB kits use a physical wire to sync the left and right lights. If you can only control one side via the App, please check the Sync Signal Wire connecting the two lights to ensure it is plugged in securely.
Common Issues & Solutions
1. Tail light does not turn on after installation
Please first check whether the wiring harness connectors are properly connected and fully seated. Inspect the pins inside the connector to ensure none are bent or misaligned.
If any pins are bent, you may carefully straighten them using a paper clip or other small precision tool, then reconnect the plug securely.
2. Swap test
If the tail light still does not illuminate, try swapping the left and right tail lights to determine whether the issue is related to the light unit itself or the vehicle wiring.
3. Condensation inside the tail light
Condensation may occur due to temperature differences, which is a normal physical phenomenon. After the tail light has been operating for a period of time and the internal temperature stabilizes, the moisture will naturally dissipate.
This does not affect brightness, performance, or the lifespan of the tail light.
