Step-by-Step Installation Guide
Step 1: Disconnect the Negative Battery Cable

Instruction: Open the hood and locate your vehicle’s battery. Use a wrench to loosen the nut on the negative terminal clamp, slide the clamp off the battery post, and secure it to the side to safe-guard the electrical system.

Warning / Tip: Always disconnect negative terminal first to prevent shorts or blown fuses.
Step 2: Remove the Front Bumper Cover

Instruction: Remove all upper shroud clips, top mounting bolts, wheel well liner screws, and underbody splash shield fasteners. Carefully pull the bumper corners outward to release the clips, slide the bumper assembly forward, and unplug the fog lights and side markers to remove it completely.

Warning / Tip: Place detached bumper on a soft blanket to avoid paint scratches.
Step 3: Remove the Headlight Mounting Bolts

Instruction: Locate the factory mounting hardware securing the headlight housing to the vehicle frame. Use a socket and ratchet to unscrew and remove the upper bolt near the radiator support, followed by the two lower bolts located on the bottom brackets.

Warning / Tip: Hold the front lens while removing the final bolt to prevent the headlight from falling.
Step 4: Unplug the Wiring Harness and Remove Headlight

Instruction: Carefully pull the unbolted headlight housing slightly forward from the chassis to access the back. Firmly depress the locking tab on the large main electrical wiring harness plug, slide it completely off the rear receptacle, and lift the headlight assembly away from the car.

Warning / Tip: Press the release tab fully before pulling. Factory harness is short and damages easily.
Step 5: Reinstall the New PrismBeam Headlights

Instruction: Align your new PrismBeam headlight housing with the factory frame mounting slots. Firmly plug the factory main wiring harness connector into the rear receptacle of the new light until it clicks into place, then secure it using the original 10mm hardware.

Warning / Tip: Turn on ignition and test all functions (Low/High/DRL/Side Markers) BEFORE remounting the bumper.
Important Wiring Notes based on Vehicle Year

Notice: Identify your vehicle year and apply the correct wiring logic.

Warning / Tip:

2013–2014 Models: Connect Plug A & B only. DRL runs via OEM factory computer. Leave Plug E idle (or use for custom ACC setups).

2010–2012 Models: Connect Plug C & D for beams/signals. You MUST connect Plug E to the included ACC Cable and route to the fuse box for DRL power.

Step 6: Reinstall the Front Bumper & Align the Headlights

Instruction: Lift the front bumper back onto the vehicle. Plug the factory fog light and side marker harnesses into your new clear side markers. Snap the bumper sides back to the fenders, reinstall all saved fasteners, and use a screwdriver to adjust the headlight alignment screws for optimal beam level.

Warning / Tip: Guide pins must line up perfectly before snapping bumper sides to fenders to avoid bending the brackets.
Common Issues & Solutions
1. Light does not turn on after installation
Please first check whether the wiring harness connectors are properly connected and fully seated. Inspect the pins inside the connector to ensure none are bent or misaligned.
If any pins are bent, you may carefully straighten them using a paper clip or other small precision tool, then reconnect the plug securely.
2. Swap test
If the light still does not illuminate, try swapping the left and right lights to determine whether the issue is related to the light unit itself or the vehicle wiring.
3. Condensation inside the light
Condensation may occur due to temperature differences, which is a normal physical phenomenon. After the light has been operating for a period of time and the internal temperature stabilizes, the moisture will naturally dissipate.
This does not affect brightness, performance, or the lifespan of the light.
