Part 1: Uninstall Factory Tail Lights
Step 1: Remove Trunk Lid Trim
Open the trunk. Use a trim removal tool to pop out all the plastic push pins securing the trunk lid liner. Remove the liner to access the inner tail lights.

Step 2: Disconnect Inner Tail Lights
Locate the electrical connector for the inner tail lights on the trunk lid. Press the release tab and disconnect the plug.

Step 3: Remove Inner Tail Light Nuts
Use a 10mm socket to remove the nuts securing the inner tail light assembly. Keep these nuts safe as you will reuse them.
Step 4: Remove Outer Tail Lights
Peel back the trunk side liner to access the outer tail light screws. Remove the screws and pull the tail light assembly straight back to release it from the body.

Part 2: Wiring & Installation
Step 5: Run Wire Through Grommet
Important: Remove the factory rubber grommet. Feed the wiring harness of the new inner tail light through this hole to connect it to the outer light signal.(Ensure the rubber grommet is fully seated to prevent water leaks)

Step 6: Connect Inner & Outer Lights
Connect the provided extension harness between the inner (trunk lid) and outer (fender) tail lights. This allows the sequential signal to flow across both sections.

Step 7: Install New Lights
Align the new tail lights and push them into place. Secure them using the factory 10mm nuts. Do not overtighten.
