Fits: 2021-2023 Ford F-150 (14th generation).
Required Tools
- 1/4" ratchet
- 1/4" extension
- Sockets: 10mm / 8mm / 7mm
- Metal panel popper
- Flat screwdriver

Step 1: Remove the Upper Cover / Intake Panel
Use a panel popper or flat screwdriver to remove the plastic clips, then lift off the upper cover to reach the grille and headlight fasteners.

Step 2: Remove the Grille Fasteners
Remove the bolts along the top of the grille using the appropriate socket (commonly 8mm or 10mm), then release any remaining clips.

Step 3: Release and Remove the Grille
Carefully pull the grille forward to release the retaining clips. Work evenly from one side to the other to avoid bending tabs.

Step 4: Remove the Headlight Mounting Bolts
Remove the headlight mounting bolts (top and side) with a ratchet and extension. Keep the hardware organized by side.

Step 5: Disconnect the OE Connectors
Gently pull the headlight forward and unplug the OE connectors. Do not force them: press the tab, then pull straight out.

Step 6: Transfer Any Required Parts (If Applicable)
If your new headlights require reusing OEM modules or adjusters (this varies by product), transfer them now using the same bolt pattern.

Step 7: Connect the New Headlight and DRL Harness (If Included)
Plug in the main headlight connector(s). If a DRL harness is included or required, connect it as instructed. Make sure every connector clicks into place.

Step 8: Test Before Final Reassembly
Reconnect the battery temporarily and test the low beam, high beam, turn signal, and DRL / parking light. Fix any loose connectors before reassembly.
Step 9: Reinstall the Headlight and Align
Seat the headlight into position, make sure the tabs line up with the mounting points, then reinstall and snug the bolts evenly.

Step 10: Reinstall the Grille and Upper Cover
Reinstall the grille (engage the clips first, then the bolts), then reinstall the upper cover and plastic clips.

Step 11: Final Check and Beam Aim
Confirm there are no warning lights, re-check all functions, and adjust the beam aim if needed according to local regulations.
Common Issues and Solutions
Light does not turn on after installation. Check that the harness connectors are fully seated. Inspect the pins inside each connector; if any are bent, carefully straighten them with a small precision tool and reconnect securely.
Swap test. If a light still does not work, swap the left and right units to find out whether the issue is the light itself or the vehicle wiring.
Condensation inside the light. Temperature differences can cause light condensation, which is normal. Once the light has been on for a while and the internal temperature stabilizes, the moisture clears on its own. It does not affect brightness, performance, or lifespan.
