This Is a Four-Piece Set
Two headlight assemblies and two bumper park / turn lamps. The GMT800 front end carries a headlight and a separate bumper lamp on each side, and all four are in the box.
Lay all four pieces out and identify left from right before anything comes off the truck.

What It Does
- White daytime running light
- Amber sequential turn signal
- Startup animation when the ignition is switched on
- An amber side signature at the outer corner of each headlight, which lights with the position lamps and stays reflective with the truck off
The kit is plug-and-play into the factory harness with integrated anti-flicker decoders, so no cutting, splicing or added resistors should be needed.
Before You Start
- Check that all four pieces are present and undamaged before removing anything from the truck.
- Park on level ground, switch off, and disconnect the negative battery terminal while handling wiring.
- Work one side at a time. Leaving the opposite side assembled gives you a live reference for connector routing and lamp seating.
- Use masking tape around painted edges near the hood, grille, bumper edge and fender liner.
- Do not put dielectric or weather-sealing grease on connectors or sockets.
- If a lamp or trim panel does not move, stop and look for another fastener or locating pin.
Required Tools
- Trim removal tool or panel clip tool
- Metric socket and ratchet set
- Phillips and flat screwdrivers
- Masking tape and clean microfiber towels
- Electrical tape and zip ties for the supplied harnesses
- A flat wall for beam aiming
Part 1: Remove the Factory Lamps (One Side)
Step 1: Find Every Retainer First
On the GMT800 the headlight and the bumper lamp are held by retainers reached from the engine bay side. Locate every retainer for the side you are working on before releasing any of them, and note how each one is oriented so it goes back the same way.
Step 2: Release the Headlight
With the retainers clear, draw the headlight straight forward out of its locating pins. Do not twist it or lever it against the fender — if it will not come, a retainer is still engaged.
Step 3: Disconnect
Support the assembly, release each locking tab, and separate the connectors. Pull on the connector body, never on the wires.
Step 4: Remove the Bumper Park / Turn Lamp
Same sequence for the lamp below the headlight. Keep the fasteners for each lamp separated — headlight and bumper lamp hardware is not interchangeable.
Part 2: Install the New Lamps (Same Side)
Step 5: Connect
Plug the new harness into the factory connectors for that side and confirm every plug is fully seated and locked.
Step 6: Test While Everything Is Still Loose
Switch on and confirm low beam, high beam, the white daytime running light, the amber sequential turn signal and the startup animation. It is far easier to fix a connector now than after the assembly is bolted in.
Step 7: Seat and Secure the Headlight
Guide the assembly onto its locating pins, check the gap against the fender and hood, then refit the retainers. The lamp should sit flush without being forced.
Step 8: Fit the Bumper Lamp
Same way, then refit any trim you removed.
Step 9: Repeat, Then Reconnect the Battery
Only now do the other side, using the side you just finished as your reference.
Part 3: Final Checks
- Low beam and high beam on both sides.
- White daytime running light, position lamps, amber sequential turn signal and hazard flash — on all four lamps.
- Startup animation when the ignition is switched on.
- Check for dashboard warnings, flicker or hyperflash.
- Set the beam aim: park square to a flat wall about 25 feet away on level ground, mark the height of each beam centre, and bring the cut-off line level and even. A projector aimed too high is worse for oncoming traffic than the lamp it replaced.
Common Issues and Solutions
The headlight works but the bumper lamp does not. These are separate assemblies on separate connectors. Confirm the bumper lamp has its own plug fully seated — do not assume one connector feeds both.
One lamp does not turn on. Recheck the main connector lock, the related fuse and the battery connection.
Warning, flicker or hyperflash. Confirm any included decoder or relay is connected and secured, and that both sides are wired the same way. Do not add universal resistors — the anti-flicker decoders are already built in.
The lamp will not sit flush. A locating pin is most likely not engaged. Back the assembly out and reseat it rather than tightening the retainers down onto it.
Beam pattern is too high or uneven. Recheck lamp seating first, then adjust the aim on a flat surface.
Condensation inside the headlight. Temperature differences can cause light condensation, which is normal. Once the light has been on for a while and the internal temperature stabilizes, the moisture clears on its own. It does not affect brightness, performance, or lifespan.
