Fits: 2009-2014 Ford F-150 (12th generation) and 2010-2014 SVT Raptor, all trims and configurations. Both factory lighting configurations are plug-and-play.
These steps cover both builds, Dual Projector and Quad Projector. They share the same housing and fitment and install the same way.
The two builds signal differently, so do not be surprised when you test them:
- Quad Projector: four cups per side, two low and two high. The turn signal is an amber flash, not a sweep.
- Dual Projector: two cups per side. The turn signal sweeps sequentially.
The grille does not have to come off for this job. Two bolts on top, one hidden on the side, and the lamp pulls forward.
Before You Start
- Park on level ground, switch off, and disconnect the negative battery terminal while handling wiring.
- Tape the painted edges around the hood, grille and fender before removal.
- Work one side at a time so the other lamp stays as a reference.
- Do not put dielectric or weather-sealing grease on connectors or sockets.
Required Tools
- Trim removal tool or panel clip tool
- Metric socket and ratchet set, including 10mm
- Phillips and flat screwdrivers
- Clean microfiber towels and masking tape
- Electrical tape and zip ties for the supplied harness
- A wall or flat vertical surface for checking beam aim
Part 1: Remove the Factory Headlights
Step 1: Remove the Dust Shield Clip
Loosen and remove the plastic clip beside the headlight, then move the shield out of the way.

Step 2: Remove the Mounting Bolts
There is a hidden 10mm bolt on the side, plus two 10mm bolts above the headlight. Take out all three.

Step 3: Pull the Headlight Out
Draw the lamp straight forward to release the two fender clips.

Step 4: Disconnect the Wiring
Turn the turn signal / DRL socket and the side marker socket counterclockwise to release them, then unplug the main headlight connector.
Take the side marker bulb out but keep its socket. The new lamp's side marker adapter plugs into that factory socket, so it does not go in the bin with the old lamp.

Part 2: Install the New Headlights
Step 5: Connect the Adapter Harnesses
Connect the side marker adapter to the factory side marker socket, then the main adapter to the factory headlight plug.

Step 6: Fit the New Headlight
Lock the turn signal socket into the new headlight, line the fender clips up, and push the assembly into place.
Step 7: Secure It
Refit the two upper bolts, the side bolt and the dust shield clip.

Step 8: Adjust the Beam Height
Turn the adjustment screw at the back of the lamp until the left and right beams sit level with each other. Park square to a flat wall to check.
Step 9: Test Everything
Check low beam, high beam, the daytime running light, turn signals and the side marker on both sides. On the Quad build the turn signal flashes amber; on the Dual build it sweeps.

Common Issues and Solutions
The turn signal flashes instead of sweeping. On the Quad Projector build that is correct, not a fault. Only the Dual build sweeps.
The side marker does not light. Check the side marker adapter is plugged into the factory socket you kept in Step 4, and that the socket is locked in.
One headlight does not light. Recheck the main connector lock, the related fuse and the battery connection. Inspect the pins inside the connector; if any are bent, carefully straighten them with a small precision tool and reconnect securely.
Warning, flicker or hyperflash. Confirm both sides are wired the same way and every adapter is fully seated.
Beam pattern is too high or uneven. Check the lamp is fully seated first, then use the rear adjustment screw.
Condensation inside the headlight. Temperature differences can cause light condensation, which is normal. Once the light has been on for a while and the internal temperature stabilizes, the moisture clears on its own. It does not affect brightness, performance, or lifespan.
