Fits: 2019-2025 Toyota RAV4 (XA50).
In the box: two headlight assemblies and two adapter harnesses — one for the higher trims and one for the mid and base trims. Use the one that matches your car's factory connector; the other is not needed.
Each side has three bi-function projector cups. The daytime running light is white with a blue accent, the turn signal is a sequential amber sweep, and there is an amber side marker.

Before You Start
- Compare your car's factory headlight plug with both supplied adapter harnesses before you remove anything, and set the unused one aside.
- Park on level ground, switch off, and disconnect the negative battery terminal while handling wiring.
- Tape the painted edges around the bumper cover and fender before removal.
- Work one side at a time so the other lamp stays as a reference.
- Do not put dielectric or weather-sealing grease on connectors or sockets.
Required Tools
- Trim removal tool or panel clip tool
- Metric socket and ratchet set
- Phillips screwdriver
- Clean microfiber towels and masking tape
- Zip ties for securing the adapter harness
- A wall or flat vertical surface for checking beam aim
Part 1: Remove the Factory Headlights
Step 1: Free the Front Bumper Cover
Release the upper clips, the wheel well fasteners and the lower fasteners far enough to draw the bumper cover clear of the headlight.
Step 2: Unbolt the Headlight
Support the lamp as the last fastener comes out, and keep the hardware separated by side.
Step 3: Disconnect the Wiring
Press the lock tab and pull on the connector body, not on the wires.
Step 4: Pick the Right Adapter
Hold the new lamp against the original and confirm the mounting tabs line up. Then hold your car's factory plug against both supplied adapters and pick the one that matches. This is the step that decides whether the lights work, so do it with the old lamp still in your hand for comparison.

Part 2: Install the New Headlights
Step 5: Fit the Adapter Harness and Connect
Fit the matching adapter between the car's plug and the new lamp. Confirm both ends are seated and locked.
Step 6: Test Before Closing Up
With the lamp still loose, confirm low beam, high beam, the white daytime running light, the amber side marker, the sequential amber turn signal and the startup animation.
Step 7: Seat and Bolt the Lamp
Check the gap against the fender, hood and bumper cover before tightening. Do not overtighten plastic mounts.
Step 8: Secure and Reassemble
Zip-tie the adapter harness away from heat, moving parts, water paths and sharp edges. Refit the bumper cover, do the other side, then reconnect the negative battery terminal.
Step 9: Check the Beam Aim
Park square to a flat vertical surface and confirm the cutoff line sits level and at the same height on both sides.
Common Issues and Solutions
One headlight does not light. The most common cause on this car is the wrong adapter harness. Check your factory plug against both supplied adapters again, then recheck the fuse and the battery connection.
Hyperflash or a dash warning. Confirm both sides use the same adapter and that every plug is fully seated.
The lamp will not sit flush. Check for a trapped harness behind the housing rather than forcing the bolts.
Condensation inside the headlight. Temperature differences can cause light condensation, which is normal. Once the light has been on for a while and the internal temperature stabilizes, the moisture clears on its own. It does not affect brightness, performance, or lifespan.
